A free morning presented a chance to explore a local gravel trail Marc’s been eager to ride. Since Marc, an avid gravel enthusiast, suggested we pack up the bikes up and head to the Tunica Hills region, home to the Rouge Roubaix gravel race. Tackling Big Bertha and the route’s major elevation first seemed like a decent idea so we set out and saved the downhill coasting for end. In reality, the gravel mostly attacked Caitlin a few times 🤣, but it was gorgeous, shady, and mostly free of vehicles!! Now we just need to convince Marc to sign up for the Roubaix!
